@May: Good job noticing my book of choice. There are other words in there that allude to the "love affair" theme.

9/52 | "an american classic" ... found this vintage schwinn bicycle parked in the streets and it had an old school speedometer/odometer on it. hot!

so i ended up buying myself a brand new walmart fixie road bike after posting my 9/52... spent a lot more time with the bicycle this weekend than the camera :notcool: ... then i went on craigslist today and picked up a beat up fixie mountain bike just to mess around with. Who's down to hit up the ramps and rails with me!? kidding.

here's 10/52, topic: paparazzi ... not nearly as cool as what i imagined a paparazzi pic to be, but i guess the rule is to post your best shot :(

please leave comments.

Well, I always thought a paparazzi photo would be any type of "stalking" photography that involved dynamic movements... meaning not taking pictures of strangers sitting down, etc. I think you guys did a good job in that sense.

As for fixies, you guys tried Republic or Sillgey? They're pretty cheap and you can always switch to single speed by flipping the rear wheel. I go mountain biking quite a bit at Cunningham Park. Just last weekend, I tried night riding for the first time. It was awesome.

Kevin, is that Tom Cruise's stunt double? The womans hand placement is very...risque. Don't think Katie would appreciate that. I know you're always trying something unique, but keep in mind there are kids here. Thanks!

Sean, the only activity I do during the "night" is sleeping. I've heard from other people that its a ton of fun though.

Nice! I'd like to take a photo of my grandma as well. What a great grandson. I see you put those transmitters and extra flashes to good use.

Sean - Kevin likes to pretend he's very knowledgeable with bicycle terminology (hub, cog, fixie, dixie) when in fact, he has barely knows how to ride a bicycle.

12 of 52 - I'm starting to notice more and more jugglers.
13 of 52 - Interesting. I'm trying to figure out if you took this in the museum of natural history. The animals definitely don't look like they're alive.
14 of 52 - I see your board and bindings hanging from the wall. Are your bikes hanging from the ceiling?
