I was just saying in a previous thread that it would be nice to own the trinity of primes for Nikon --35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4. Of course if you want to go overboard and own the 24mm and 135mm, you can do that, too. This is a portraitist's dream come true for Nikon. I can't wait!
I've been really wanting an 85 since my Canon days. I've been holding back buying the current Nikon 85mm f/1.8 because it's an old lens that I knew was going to be replaced sooner or later.
