DIY battery/power pack for studio strobes

For a while, I've plugged in my studio strobes to one power pack. While that works, there are times I wish I had one for each so that the recycle time doesn't suffer as much and I can also have more shots per charge. The only thing is that the "cheapest" and most popular power pack (Vagabond II by Paul C Buff) is $300 a pop. Ouch.

...Then I saw this video.

Great DIY. Not sure when I'll be needing battery packs for a photo-shoot anytime soon, but a great money saving option nevertheless.

Just to update this thread, I'm going to be building one except it will be twice as powerful. I'll post a video when it's done.
